Having hit the 20 years in business milestone in December 2024, Kelly now takes on a leadership role within Zig Zag and thrives on seeing the growth of her team both personally and professionally 🌟

Meet Kelly, the owner and CEO of Zig Zag Hair Design. With 30 years of expertise in the hair industry, she has dedicated over 20 years to sharing her skills at Zig Zag. Having mastered her craft, Kelly now plays a key role in mentoring emerging stylists while overseeing the daily operations of the salon. Her passion lies in cultivating a vibrant, fun, and welcoming atmosphere, inspiring others to look and feel their best.

Although Kelly isn’t taking on new appointments, she welcomes everyone to experience the unique atmosphere she has created at Zig Zag Hair Design.

Paul

With over 35 years of hair expertise under his belt, Paul
specialises in 50 shades of blondes, all types of bobs, and
is our blow-dry king of the salon.

Paul is an experienced member of the team, bringing decades of knowledge, skill, and creativity to the salon. Known for his eye for detail and understanding of what suits each client, he takes pride in helping people look and feel their best.

Whether you're after a fresh new look or a style you can feel confident wearing every day, Paul's expertise and passion make every salon visit special.

Senior Creative Stylist

Maddie

Having been part of Zig Zag since 2021, Maddie is our Creative Hair Artist, known for bringing individuality and self-expression to life through hair. She loves creating personalised transformations and has a particular passion for vivid, bright and beautifully colourful looks. 🌈

Meet Maddie, a creative force who brings the weird and wonderful to life! With seven years of experience, she is passionate about crafting unique, personalized colors and haircuts that reflect individuality. As both a senior stylist and salon manager, Maddie thrives on fostering a vibrant and welcoming space for clients and the team.

She believes your hair is your crown, not a mask-an expression of who you are. Her ultimate goal? To help people feel beautiful, confident, and truly themselves. ✨

Qualified Stylist

Rachael

She brings a calm, gentle presence to Zig Zag, creating a relaxed space where clients can truly unwind. A versatile all-round stylist, she loves everything from beautiful blondes and brunettes to dimensional colour and personalised transformations, always bringing genuine care and quiet confidence to every client in her chair.

Recently stepping into her new role as a Qualified Stylist, Rachael has grown into a confident and creative force within the Zig Zag team.

Once a quiet emerging stylist, Rachael has truly found her voice behind the chair. Her calm presence, warm energy, and commitment to her craft ensure that everyone who sits with her feels supported, understood, and beautifully transformed.

Rachael continues to evolve her skills with enthusiasm and heart- creating personalised styles and alternative looks that leave you feeling unique and glowing with confidence.

Trainee Stylist

Halen

The newest member of the Zig Zag Hair Design team and is beginning her journey as a trainee stylist. Currently in Year 11 and studying her Certificate II in Hairdressing, she assists around the salon while gaining hands-on experience with the team.

Halen is the newest member of the Zig Zag Hair Design team and is currently beginning her journey as a trainee stylist.

Whilst currently in Year 11, she is doing her Certificate 2 in Hairdressing and you will see her assisting around the salon with shampooing, rinsing colours, treatments, and blow-dries, as well as helping keep the salon running smoothly behind the scenes.

She’s excited to be learning from the Zig Zag team and gaining hands-on experience in the salon environment.
